Shayne Groenewald

Principal

Shayne is a Chartered Accountant and CFA Charterholder with 6 years’ Private Credit experience. He joined Greenpoint in 2023, prior to which he was a Transactor in the Sasfin Specialised Lending business where he was responsible for structuring of debt funding solutions, deal and credit analysis, transaction implementation and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to Sasfin, Shayne completed his articles at KPMG followed by a short stint as an analyst at EisnerAmper, an advisory house based in New York. During this time, he gained exposure in varying capacities to a wide range of listed and private companies across the financial sector.
